01What it is
The work.
One floor. Your program.
Full access to the Imperial Beach floor: iron, bumper plates, dumbbells to 150 lb, racks, benches, kettlebells, vintage isolation machines and the functional area.
The floor is the same one described on the open gym page: free weights, strength machines and a functional area. Coaching changes how you use it, not what is available.
No prices or schedules are published here. Call the front desk for current details, or use the online sign-up for membership promotions.
02What a session looks like
On the floor.
This is the shape of it. The front desk can confirm the current process and availability.
Check in at the front desk
Tell them it is your first time if it is. They can point you toward the racks, the machines or the functional floor.
Pick your station
Power racks and benches anchor the room. Dumbbells run to 150 lb. Iron and bumper plates cover the barbell work.
Load and train
Run your own program. If you are unsure how a vintage machine is set up, ask a trainer rather than guessing.
Finish on the functional floor
Battle ropes, plyo boxes, tires and kettlebells are there for conditioning, WOD work and obstacle-race prep.
Put it back
Re-rack the plates, return the dumbbells and wipe down the bench. The next person gets the same gym you walked into.

Do the math first.
The floor runs on plates. Check the target, the bar and the per-side stack before you lift.

Check the bar and collars before you lift. Read the number on every plate — bumper plates are not heavier than iron.
